MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Before heading
off to play tennis next year at Notre Dame, Steve will be gunning
for his 3rd Ohio state Div. II tennis championship this spring.
Steve, a 4-year varsity starter, won the Ohio state doubles championship
as a freshman and won the state Div. II singles championship as
a sophomore. Last year, he was state singles runner-up. He has
a stunning 60-1 record in matches the past 2 years. He has earned
many honors, including Ohio Div. II Player of the Year, Cincinnati
Div. II Player of the Year, and MVC Player of the Year three times.
He also three times has been named 1st team all-state, all-city
and all-conference. Steve is very active in community service,
and is strong academically as a member of National Honor Society
and a National Merit Scholar finalist. His favorite athlete is
Sam Querrey, favorite entertainer is Will Ferrell and his most-like
to-meet is Roger Federer.
