A 2-sport star, shortstop/pitcher Ryan Arington is having another high-powered baseball season with a .500+ batting average while leading the league in RBIs. Ryan is the reigning Div. IV Cincinnati and state of Ohio Player of the Year. He put up remarkable stats last season — a .511 batting average with 9 home runs, 42 RBIs, 46 runs and 25 for 25 in stolen bases. On the mound, he went 6-0 with 73 Ks and a 0.46 ERA.

Ryan holds numerous school records, including single season hits (45) and RBIs (42) and will play at the next level at Western Carolina University.

Also a 4-year basketball starter, Ryan is the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,660 career points. This past season he averaged 24 points-7 rebounds a game, earning him numerous honors, including being named MVC Gray Player of the Year and Cincinnati Div. IV Player of the Year. He was also SWO district Player of the Year and 1st team all-Ohio.
