In baseball his junior year, he missed the final 13 games of the season with a wrist injury as the Camels went 24-11 and went to the state quarterfinals. Prior to the injury, Aydan was putting up impressive numbers, hitting .490 with 21 RBI, 26 runs scored and was 16 for 16 in stolen bases. He was named as a NKAC Div. I all-star, second-team all-NKY (Enquirer) and was first-team all-state. He also plays baseball for the Jackson Rockabilly's club team.

In basketball, Aydan is a member of the elite 2,000-point club, only the second player in school history to reach this exclusive plateau. When he put in 24 points in a win over Pendleton County earlier this year, he became the all-time leading scorer in Campbell County basketball history with 2,216 points. He had some great scoring games this past season, scoring 38 points (and 16 rebounds) vs. Boyd County, 33 points vs. Mason County and 30 points vs. Christian Academy. He was this season's 10th Region Player of the Year, named to the all-tournament team of the 10th Region championships and was a NKAC Div. I all-star. Also, he was named first-team all-Northern Kentucky by the Enquirer. The Camels were 10th Region semifinalists.

His junior year, he averaged 19.6 points-per-game and 5.7 rebounds per game. He was named to the 10th region and 37th district all-tournament teams and was named to the NKAC all-conference team.

A great student with a 4.0 GPA, Aydan is a member of National Honor Society and has been named to the first-team academic all-state team three years in a row. He is active in community service and he will play baseball collegiately at the University of Kentucky. His favorite athlete is Mike Trout, favorite entertainer is Will Ferrell, favorite book is The Prince of Fenway Park, favorite movie is Talladega Nights and most-like-to-meet is Joe Burrow.

COACH'S QUOTE – "Aydan is an extremely hard-working student-athlete who loves to be at the field and pushes his teammates to be better human beings."
— Scott Schweitzer, Varsity Baseball Coach.
