McAuley senior Aubrey Brunst is a 4-year varsity softball player at
pitcher, first base and outfield for the defending league champions,
who last season went an undefeated 10-0 in GGCL play and 18-4 over
all.
Entering her senior season, Aubrey on the mound sports a 42-17 career
record with 362 strikeouts and a 1.95 ERA. Last season, Aubrey was
17-3 with 105 Ks, 4 shutouts and a 1.79 ERA. She also hit .313 with 15
RBI.
Aubrey has earned numerous honors, including 2015 GGCL Player of the
Year and twice being named 1st team all-GGCL. She was also 1st team
all-city (Enquirer), 1st team all-SWO District and a member of the
World Cup of Softball team.
In January 2015, she played on USA Team Chaos United that played in
the
Netherlands for a week against teams from Europe.
A great student and National Honor Society member, Aubrey is active in
community service and will play softball collegiately at the
University of Northwestern Ohio.
