The Boudinot Pizzeria re-opened in just
45 days with the help of the volunteers. Soon after, Buddy began
running weekly sports drawings in the newspaper by Hank Zurieck,
a local freelance sports cartoonist. Each week one athlete from
local schools was honored with an original drawing by Hank, along
with the story of their personal accomplishments. A framed copy
of each "Athlete of the Week" article was displayed in the neighborhood
LaRosa's closest to the student athlete's school.
Scores of these original art drawings still decorate the walls
of the Boudinot Pizzeria and LaRosa's all over Greater Cincinnati.
For over 30 years, LaRosa's has been honoring these best and brightest
High School athletes from our area.
