MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior 4-year varsity starter is an all-NKY, all-region and all-state soccer goalkeeper who notched 45 shutouts in her great career. April holds the school record in single-season shutouts (15 this season, breaking her own record), and was one of only 44 players in the nation invited last summer to the Nike Premier Soccer Camp in Portland, Oregon. She plays for the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy during the summer, and has been named to the USA all-region team. April has helped the Thoroughbreds win 3 straight All “A” state soccer championships, and helped her team to a 23-4-1 record her junior year and a 16-4-1 record and district runner-up finish this season. Active in community service and a great student with a 4.0 GPA, April will play soccer next year at the University of Cincinnati. Her favorite entertainer is Will Ferrell, favorite athlete is Michael Jordan and most-like-to-meet is David Beckham.
