MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This Ohio Div. I and SWO District Player of the Year for the Tigers is a big-time performer, a McDonalds All-American nominee who turned in numerous huge games this season, including vs. Winton Woods (39 points-15 rebounds), Talawanda (33 points), Western Hills (29 points-14 rebounds) and American Prep (28 points-11 rebounds). A 4-year varsity starter, last year as a junior, Yancy averaged a double-double (19 points-10 rebounds) on his way to being named SOPL Player of the Year, 1st team all-city, 1st team all-Southwest Ohio district and 2nd team all-Ohio. Active in community service, Yancy during the summer plays for the Ohio Basketball Club. Highly recruited nationally and rated as one of the top high school players at his position, Yancy will keep his game in town next year as a member of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats' team. His favorite athlete and his most-like-to-meet is Kevin Garnett, and his favorite movie is He Got Game.
