ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Seven Hills senior Jake Davis (16 ppg.) has had a stellar prep career. A 1,000+ scorer who led the Stingers this season to a 20-3 record, a 4th straight MVC Scarlet championship, a sectional championship and a district runner-up finish. Big scoring games included 36 points (10 rebounds) vs. Madison Central and 28 points vs. Hillcrest. He was named 1st team all-MVC and SWO district. As a junior, Jake averaged 19 points-10 rebounds a game and was named MVC Scarlet Player of the Year for the second time, Cincinnati Div. IV Player of the Year, and Southwest Ohio district Div. IV Player of the Year. He was also named 1st team all-city and 1st team all-Ohio in Div. IV. A good student active in community service, Jake will play next season at Emory University. His favorite athlete is Pau Gasol, favorite entertainer is Rob Zombie, and most-like-to-meet is Chris “Birdman” Anderson.
