ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 4-year varsity starting pitcher for the sectional and district champs,
Alex went 10-2 during the regular season. This follows a junior year
campaign when she posted a 19-7 record (0.62 ERA, conference-leading 259
strikeouts.) She pitched 13 shutouts last season, including 3 no-hitters (of
which 2 were perfect games.) She also hit .329 while driving in 18
runs. Alex has earned numerous honors, including last season being named 1st
team all-conference (2nd time), 1st team all-city and 2nd team all-state.
She holds several school records, including once striking out 20 batters in
a 13 inning game. Active in community service, Alex is a National Honor
Society student and has missed only 1 day of school during her prep career.
Alex will continue her softball career at Northern Kentucky University. Her
favorite athlete is Lisa Fernandez, favorite entertainers are Brad Paisley
& Keith Urban, favorite movie is Shutter Island and most-like-to-meet is
Mark Wahlberg.
