ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Mason senior Monica Lake will be running next year at Oklahoma State
University, but for now she has some unfinished high school business to take
care of. Monica and her running mates are the defending district and Ohio
state Div. I champs in the 3,200 relay, plus Monica is also reigning
district champ in the 1,600 run. Monica holds the second fastest times in
school history in the 1,600 run, 3,200 run and 3,200 relay, second only to
Mason grad and all-universe runner Angela Bizzarri. Monica has earned many
track honors, including being named all-state twice. She also is a
multi-time all-Ohio academic performer. Monica is also a 4-time 1st team
all-city cross country runner and 2-time district champion. A super student
active in community service, Monica's favorite athlete is Angela Bizzarri,
favorite entertainer is Taylor Swift, favorite book is The Wedding, favorite
movie is Jaws and most-like-to-meet is Sandra Bullock.
