                                              ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
                                            Entering his senior season, Boone County infielder/pitcher Doug
                                            Teegarden, a 4-year starter, had notched a 19-5 (2 saves) varsity pitching
                                            record with 135 career strikeouts and a no-hitter. Last season as a junior
                                            Doug hit .490 with 5 home runs and 38 RBI, leading the team. He was 5-2 on
                                            the mound with a 3.49 ERA and 49 strikeouts. Big games this season include
                                            going 3-4 with 5 RBI vs. Holmes and 2-2 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI vs. Simon
                                            Kenton. He has earned numerous honors, including being named NKAC Div. I
                                            Player of the Year and NKY Coaches' Player of the Year. He was also
                                            honorable mention all-state and played in the Kentucky coaches' Junior
                                            All-Star Game. A good student active in community service, Doug will
                                            continue his baseball career next season at Eastern Kentucky University. His
                                            favorite athlete is Buster Posey, favorite entertainer is Justin Moore, and
                                            most-like-to-meet is Adam Sandler.
