Villa Madonna senior running star Eric Baugh is the reigning Kentucky state track champion in the 800 (1:58.12) and 1600 (4:35.33), having won both of those events last season as a junior. He is also the defending regional champion in the 800, 1600 and 3200 runs.

Eric holds school records in the 1600 (4:13.28) and 3200 (9:26.96), plus holds numerous other running records. His track honors include being named Conference Runner of the Year twice and the Enquirer's NKY 2014 Track Runner of the Year. He's been 1st team all-state three years in a row.

In cross country, Eric is the reigning regional champion, finishing as Kentucky state runner-up last fall. He was undefeated locally for the entire 2014 season, and holds the school record in cross country (15:21). He was also an AAU cross country national champ his junior year in his age group. He has been 1st team all-state in cross country four times.

A National Merit Finalist and National Honor Society student, Eric will run collegiately at Butler University.
