Malik started hot again this year: at the early season LaSalle Legends
Track & Field Classic, he broke the stadium record in the 110

100 hurdles (14.48) at the Coaches Classic.
Malik is the reigning SWOC champ in both the 110 hurdles and 300
hurdles. He was also the regional champion in the long jump (23-00.25)
and a key cog in the Knights' 4x100 relay team that won last year's
district championship, regional championship and the Ohio State Div. I
championship (41.79).
Malik has already set several school records, including last year in
the 4x400 relay (3:27.86) and the long jump (23-25). He has earned

all-SWOC conference and 1st team all-city (Enquirer).
Active in community service, Malik's favorite athlete is Allyson
Felix, favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite movie is Jurassic
World and most-like-to-meet is Usain Bolt.
COACH'S QUOTE – "Malik is very dedicated to the sport of Track
and Field. He trains all year to become a better hurdler. He likes to
know down to the detail what he needs to work on. He is our team
captain and helps the other hurdlers to improve during practice also."
— Lori Spence, Track & Field Coach
