A multi-sport athlete, Cincinnati Country Day senior Darryn Jordan is
a 4-year varsity player in track & field, football and basketball.
Last season in the track 100, he finished as Coaches Classic champ
(11.35), 3rd at the MVC tournament (11.20), district runner-up
(11.40), regional runner-up (11.14), and 5th at state (11.02).
He also anchored the 4x100 relay team that won the MVC and regional
championships. He was named 2015 1st team MVC and 1st team all-city
(Enquirer).
In football, Darryn helped lead the team to a 29-4 record from his
sophomore through senior years, including 2 MVC titles and three
playoff appearances.
This past season, he had 1,973 all-purpose yards and 20 TDs, including
1,275 rushing yards and 16 TDs along with 110 receiving yards with 2
TDs. He also logged 398 kick-off return yards with 1 TD and on defense
had 130 INT yards with 1 TD. He was 1st team MVC, 1st team all-city,
1st team SWO District DIV. VI and 2nd team all-state Div. VI. He will
play collegiately at Marist College.
Darryn also played basketball and was 2nd team all-MVC this past
season. His favorite athlete is Randy Moss, favorite entertainer is J.
Cole, favorite book is The Life We Bury, favorite movie is The
Comebacks and most-like-to-meet is Charles Barkley.
