A senior multi-sport all-star, Madeira's Mary Englert is a four-year starter at guard in basketball.

She already was a member of the 1,000+ point club heading into her senior year on the hardwood. She now has 1,450+ career points, second all-time in career points scored in school history.

Mary is currently second in the CHL in both scoring and rebounds. She has been a double-double machine this season with impressive games vs. Kings (19 points-11 rebounds), Purcell Marian (18 points-17 rebounds), Norwood (18 points-12 rebounds), Deer Park (18 points-10 rebounds) and Wyoming (17 points-10 rebounds). Her junior year, Mary led the CHL in scoring, averaging a double-double with 21 points-10 rebounds a game to go along with a league-leading five assists per game as well as 4.5 steals per game. She was named CHL Player of the Year, 1st team all-conference for the second time, 1st team all-city (Enquirer), 1st team all-SWO District Div. III and 2nd team all-Ohio in Div. III.

In soccer, her senior year Mary scored 14 goals with 9 assists for 37 points. She was named 1st team all-CHL for the second time and 1st team all-SWO District for the second time. She also played a year of softball and lacrosse for the Amazons.

Her favorite athlete is Alex Morgan, favorite book is Nickel and Dimed and favorite movie is Endless Love.
