Loveland senior Jillian Hayes is a two-sport star in basketball and
volleyball.
A four-year varsity basketball player, Jillian has scored 1,000+
points in her prolific prep career. She is having a great senior
season with double-double games vs. Walnut Hills (27 points-11
rebounds), St. Ursula (25 points-15 rebounds), Milford (23 points-12
rebounds), Turpin (17 points-10 rebounds) and Anderson (16 points-11
rebounds).
Her junior year, she averaged 16.8 ppg.-8.3 rpg-2.9 spg.-1.4 bpg.
She was named 1st team all-ECC for the second time, 2nd team all-city,
1st team all-District 16 and honorable mention all-Ohio. She led the
ECC in scoring her sophomore year, averaging 15.6 ppg., and has led
the conference in steals the past two seasons. Her club team is
Kentucky Premier EYBL.
A middle hitter in volleyball, this past season for the 20-5 ECC
co-champs she had 223 kills (3rd in the ECC), 88 blocks (2nd in the
ECC) and 35 digs.
She was named 1st team all-ECC and 2nd team all-district.
Jillian has athletic bloodlines. Her father Jonathan was a collegiate
All-American in football and mother Kristi (Kinne) Hayes was a
collegiate All-American in basketball. Brother Jaxson Hayes, a Moeller
star who played basketball at the University of Texas, now plays for
the NBA New Orleans Pelicans.
A National Honor Society student who is active in community service,
Jillian will play basketball collegiately at the University of
Cincinnati.
Her favorite athlete is Wilma Rudolph, favorite entertainer is Gary
Owen, favorite book is The Hate You Give, favorite movie is Like Mike
and most-like-to-meet is Rihanna.
