Jaylen is an impact defensive back for the Lancers. Although teams generally avoided his side of the field last season, Jaylen still registered 61 total tackles (50 solo tackles) as well as three forced fumbles and two interceptions on his way to being named first team GCL-South, first team SWO District and Division II second team all-Ohio. The Enquirer also named him to the newspapers' Cincinnati all-decade team. So far this season, Jaylen in seven games has 27 solo tackles and 17 assisted tackles (44 total tackles), plus a forced fumble.
Jaylen, who is active in community service and also played basketball and track & field for the Lancers, has committed to play his college football at The Ohio State University. His favorite athlete is Jamal Adams, favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite book is To Kill A Mocking Bird, favorite movie is "any comedy" and most-like-to-meet is LeBron James.
