Sydney Moss is the all-time leading scorer and 2nd all-time rebounder in Boone County history with 2,996 career points and 1,602 rebounds. Sydney has averaged a double-double throughout her great career, and this past season averaged 23.3 points-10.2 rebounds a game for the Lady Rebels, leading the team to a 30-4 record and the regional championship. Holding several school records, Sydney this past season won virtually every statewide award, including being named Kentucky Miss Basketball, Gatorade Kentucky Player of the Year and AP Kentucky Player of the Year. She was also a McDonalds All-American nominee, the Woman's Sports Association Basketball Player of the Year and the Cincinnati Enquirer's Northern Kentucky Player of the Year. She even has her Boone County jersey on display at the Ring of Honor at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tennessee. An honor roll student active in community service, Sydney is the daughter of NFL great Randy Moss and will continue her basketball career at the University of Florida.

Two-sport athlete Adolphus Washington is one of the most decorated athletes in Cincinnati high school sports' history, and he was also a finalist for the LaRosa's MVP of the Year award last year as a junior. A football All-American, Adolphus' many honors included being named Ohio Div. III Defensive Player of the Year, Southwest Ohio Div. III Defensive Player of the Year and Cincinnati Div. III Player of the Year. He also played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio. In basketball, Adolphus powered CMAC and Southwest Ohio District champion Taft with a 23.1 point average with 14.4 rebounds during the regular season. His junior year, he helped lead the Senators to the Ohio state championship, the school's first-ever state title, and he was named state tournament MVP. As he did in football, Adolphus won many honors in basketball, being named Gatorade Ohio Basketball Player of the Year, Ohio Div. II Co-Player of the Year, Ohio Div. II Defensive Player of the Year, Southwest Ohio Div. II Player of the Year and Cincinnati Div. II Player of the Year. One of the top recruits in the nation, Adolphus will continue his football career next season at the Ohio State University.
