MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: A 6'6" senior, Connor is a third-year varsity starter who helped the Cowboys notch an impressive 19-3 record last year. He averaged a double-double (16 points-10 rebounds) and earned many honors, including CHL Player of the Year, 1st team all-city and all-district, and honorable mention all-state. He averaged 14 points-9 rebounds as a sophomore. Connor has started strong this year, too, scoring 25 points in an opening game win vs. Lockland. "Connor Wetzel is the epitome of diligence as well as being an awesome citizen," says Coach Tony Gentry. A tremendous student (4.2 GPA), Connor is a member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. He is also very involved in community service. His favorite athlete is Manu Ginobili, his favorite entertainer is The Roots, and his most like to meet is Jim Carrey. He plans on playing at the next level though has not yet selected a college.
