MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This All-American has won 7 Ohio state swimming championships � 2 individual, 2 relay and 3 team titles. David last year helped the AquaBombers win their 8th consecutive Ohio state swimming championship. David won the individual state championship in the 500 freestyle and was part of the state champion 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams. He also won a state championship as a sophomore in the 100 butterfly. For his accomplishment, David was 1st team all-state and was named Cincinnati Swimmer of the Year. Last January, David competed for the USA Junior National Team in Melbourne, Australia, and won a gold medal in the 200 butterfly and a bronze medal in the 800 freestyle relay. He is a qualifier for the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2008. In a rare feat, David last year as an underclassman was a finalist for the LaRosa's MVP of the Year Award. He will swim next year at Stanford U.
