MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior is a 2-sport star for Beechwood. As a football quarterback, Cody led the Tigers last year to a 9-3 record while throwing for 1,394 yards and 12 TDs. He is humming along this year, too -- vs. Dixie Heights he passed for 143 yards and ran for 131 yards (2 TDs), and rushed for 135 yards (2 TDs) vs. Dayton. Cody is also a star baseball player, a pitcher and outfielder, who hit .407 last season with 21 stolen bases. He also notched 78 strike outs as a pitcher. He earned many baseball honors, including being named NKAC Div. III MVP, and 1st team all-Northern Kentucky. He was selected to play in the Northern Kentucky Junior All-Star Game. Cody will play baseball next season at Ball State U. His favorite athlete is Carson Palmer, favorite entertainer is Chris Rock, and most-like-to-meet is Muhammad Ali.
