MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior,
before breaking his hand, was a 4-year varsity starter at guard,
and had big games vs. Lakota East (26 points), Newport (19), Newport
Catholic (17) and St. Henry (17 points-10 assists). Last year,
Nic averaged 16 points-4 assists a game while being named 1st team
all-Northern Kentucky, and was named to the district and regional
all-tournament teams. Nic also played 3 years of golf for the Bluebirds,
this past season helping the team to the 9th region championship.
A good student who is active in community service, Nic is a member
of the Highlands Chamber Choir, and is a member of the American
Choral Director Association's regional choir. Nic, who during the
summer plays basketball for the Northern Kentucky Shining Stars,
will continue his fine play at the next level at North Carolina
A & T. His favorite athlete is Carmelo Anthony, favorite entertainer
is Dave Chappelle, favorite movie is Finding Forrester, and most-like-to-meet
is Michael Jordan.
