ACCOMPLISHMENTS: A two sport star, Moeller senior Spencer Iacovone is the quarterback and team captain of one of Ohio's top-ranked teams. As a junior, Spencer helped lead the Crusaders to 10-3 record and a regional runner-up finish with 1,976 yds. passing (22 TDs) and 579 yds. rushing (11 TDs). He was named 1ST team GCL South, honorable mention all-city (Enquirer), and honorable mention all-SWO District. Also a baseball star, Spencer helped lead the reigning Ohio state champions to a 26-5 record and a #10 ranking in the USA. He hit .403 (2nd in GCL South) with nine doubles, five home runs and 26 RBI, and was named 1ST team GCL South, 1st team all-city (Enquirer) and honorable mention all-state. Spencer's brothers Dominick (2006) and Sage (2009) are Crusader alums who competed in college football and baseball. His favorite athlete is Joey Votto, and his favorite entertainer is Will Ferrell. Spencer will join the Marshall University baseball team upon graduation from Moeller.
