A four year varsity starter as a middle infielder, Kayla helped lead the Lady Eagles to an 11-1 conference record, the first ECC softball championship in school history, and a sectional runner-up finish. Kayla hit .407 this season with 15 RBI, 25 runs scored and 13 stolen bases.

Kayla also had a solid junior season when she led the league in hitting (.490) and notched 18 RBI, 25 runs scored and 11 stolen bases. Her numerous junior year honors included being named ECC Player of the Year, and three times being named 1st team all-league and 1st team all-city. She also earned 2nd team all-state honors twice.

A top academic student very active in community service, Kayla plays for the Cincy Doom Gold team during the summer and has committed to play collegiately at Bowling Green University. She also was a football and basketball cheerleader.

Her favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is Brandon Phillips, favorite entertainer is Mike Stud, favorite book is The Great Gatsby and favorite movie is The Blindside.
