It has been an outstanding high school career for Mariemont senior golfer Will Grimmer, one of the area's truly elite golfers. Will averaged a school and CHL record 34.88 last season and was CHL and sectional champ, finishing as district and Ohio state Div. II runner-up. He was medalist 14 times last season.

Three times Will has been conference and Cincinnati Div. II-III Golfer of the Year. Twice he earned 1st team all-state honors.

This past summer, Will was runner-up at the Ohio Amateur Championships, and at age 17 was the youngest participant in the 2014 US Open. In summer 2013 at the North & South Junior Amateur Championships at Pinehurst, he shot a course record 11-under par 59, becoming only the 7th person in history to break 60 at Pinehurst.

A national honor society student who is active in community service, Will has committed to Ohio State University.

His favorite athlete is Jack Nicklaus, favorite entertainer and most-like-to-meet is Jerry Seinfeld, favorite book is Tom Sawyer and favorite movie is Miracle.
