Colerain senior Kyle Bolden is an all-star athlete in two sports, football and baseball.

A three-year varsity starter in football at middle linebacker, he is one of Ohio’s top defensive players for the highly ranked Cardinals. He helped the Cardinals to a 17th straight GMC title, an 11-1 over all record and a Regional semi-finalist finish. He had a league-leading four fumble recoveries and was named SWO District Defensive Player of the Year.

His junior year, Kyle had 93 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. He was named 1st team GMC for the third time as well as being named 1st team all-city, 1st team SWO District, 1st team all-state and TriStateFootball.com’s area Defensive Player of the year.

Kyle will play football at the next level but has not yet selected a college.

In baseball, Kyle is a catcher and outfielder. Last season, he hit .356 with 32 RBI (2nd in the GMC), 2 homeruns and 18 runs scored. He was 2nd team GMC and honorable mention all-city.

An honor roll student, Kyle is the son of Colerain head football coach Tom Bolden. His favorite athlete is Christian McCaffrey.
