A senior, Luke is a five-time swimming All-American who helped last year's AquaBombers capture an eighth straight Ohio state swimming championship, the school’s 37th state swimming team title over all. The team accumulated 398 points, the highest total in Ohio high school swimming history.

Luke was a member of the 200 medley relay team that won the Ohio state title in a meet-record time of 1:30.40. He also won an individual Ohio state title in the 100 butterfly (48.57) and finished as Ohio state runner-up in the 100 backstroke (48.75). He was 1st team all-city (Enquirer).

His sophomore year, Luke was part of the Ohio state champion 200 medley relay team (1:32.03) and the AquaBombers were named USA national champions.

He is a top academic student and is active in community service, and will swim collegiately at North Carolina State University. His favorite athlete is Michael Phelps, favorite book is Station 11, favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption and most-like-to-meet is Neil deGrasse Tyson.
