A senior shooting guard and four-year varsity starter, Lakota West senior Abby Prohaska is one of the top players in Ohio. Abby and her teammates are gunning to repeat the success of the 2015 Firebirds' team that won the Ohio state championship.

Abby has come out strong this season, scoring 19 points vs. Lakota East and 18 points vs. both Beavercreek and Hamilton.

Her junior year, Abby averaged 11.4 points-7.1 rebounds per game to go along with 3.5 assists per game for the 24-3 GMC co-champs. The team was also sectional and district champions, and Abby was named first team all-GMC, 1st team all-city, 1st team SWO District and 1st team all-Ohio.

Abby was a member of the 2016 USA Women's U17 national team that won a Bronze medal at the world championship games in Spain. She also played a year of soccer for the Firebirds and was named 1st team all-conference.

A great student and National Honor Society member, Abby is active in community service. She will play basketball collegiately at the University of Notre Dame.

Her favorite athlete is Sue Bird, favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite book is Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult, favorite movie is Love and Basketball and most-like-to-meet is Carrie Underwood.
