Multi-sport athlete Jake Chisholm is leaving quite a legacy at Ryle High School in football and track & field.

A four-year varsity starter and record-holder in track & field, this year Jake was regional champion in the 100 dash (11.04), long jump (21-03.00) and the triple jump (41-06.00), plus was fifth in the 200 (23.36). It was the third time he won the regional long jump title.

In football, Jake had a remarkable senior season and career at Ryle. In a spectacular game this past season, Jake rushed for a NKY-record 449 yards while scoring six touchdowns in the Raiders' win vs. Simon Kenton. The 449 yards ranks seventh all-time in state history for single-game rushing yardage. He led the state of Kentucky Class 6A in rushing for a school single-season record 2,315 yards while scoring 33 rushing touchdowns.

For his career, Jake rushed for a school-record 4,763 yards with 64 TDs and added 1,100 receiving yards with nine TDs. Quite spectacularly, Jake in his entire high school career fumbled only one time!

Jake earned numerous honors his senior year, including being a finalist for Mr. Kentucky Football. He was Kentucky Class 6A Player of the Year, District Football Player of the Year and was USA Today's 1st team all-USA Kentucky. Additionally, he was a finalist for Cincinnati.com Sports Awards' Player of the Year and was 1st team all-state and 1st team all-NKY for the second time. He also won the National Football Foundation's prestigious "That's My Boy" Award for Northern Kentucky.

An academic all-state student with a weighted 4.5 GPA, he is a member of National Honor Society and is active in community service. He will play football collegiately at the University of Dayton.

His favorite athlete is Saquan Barkley, favorite entertainer is Denzel Washington, favorite book is Hunger Games and favorite movie is Interstellar.
