Roger Bacon senior Kylee Sheppard is a special talent -- she has been GCL Co-Ed Conference Player of the Year in two different sports - basketball and soccer.

A four-year varsity starter in basketball, Kylee entering her senior season had already scored 727 points (eighth in school history), had 259 assists (third all-time) and 184 steals (fifth all-time). She was named to this year's Cincinnati Enquirer Preseason Div. II all-city team and was recently named once again first team all-Southwest Ohio District. She has had a strong senior season, averaging about 14 points-4 rebounds per game while dealing with an ankle injury. Big scoring games include those vs. McNicholas (22 points), Fenwick (19 points), Loveland (19 points) and Badin (18 points).

Last season, she helped her team win a second straight conference title and a district title, going 20-8 over all. Kylee averaged 12 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 3.6 steals per game. Double-digit scoring games included those versus Tippecanoe (23 points), Badin (18 points), Chaminade Julienne (17 points) McNicholas (17 points), Alter (16 points), St. Bernard (16 points) and Mount Notre Dame (16 points). She was named GCL-Co-Ed Co-Player of the Year, first team all-city, first team SWO District and was a finalist for Cincinnati.com Sports Awards' Small School Player of the Year award.

Also a star soccer player, Kylee, a forward, was a four-year varsity starter. In her career, she had 116 points (second all-time in school history), 49 goals (second all-time, behind her mom Mindy Ballinger '92, who had 50 goals) and 20 assists. This past season, she scored 19 goals with six assists (for 44 points.) She was named first team all-GCL Co-Ed for the fourth straight year. She was also named GCL Co-Ed Player of the Year, first team all-city and first team all-SWO District.

A good student active in community service, Kylee plays her club basketball with the Angels Basketball Club team. She will play basketball collegiately at Providence College.

Her favorite athlete is Michael Jordan, favorite entertainer is Will Farrell, favorite book is Friday Night Lights, favorite movie is The Grinch and most-like-to-meet is Sue Bird.
