Ryle's senior dual-threat quarterback Logan Verax is the Raiders' all-time leading passer with 7,979 career passing yards, which is second all-time in Northern Kentucky history. He also holds numerous school records, including for most touchdowns thrown in a game, when he threw for five TDs in a game in 2021. He also holds school records for career completions, career passing TDs, single-season passing yards and single-game passing yards.

One of this season's most exciting moments was a come-from-behind 24-21 win vs. Simon Kenton. In the game, Logan passed for 367 yards and two TDs, including the game-winning air strike. The Raiders drove 74 yards in 2:23 for the game-winning score when Logan hit Grady Reynolds for a six-yard touchdown. The win clinched a Class 6A, 6th District title for Ryle.

During his senior campaign, Logan threw for 3,279 yards and 29 touchdowns plus ran for 484 yards and five TDs. The Raiders finished 8-5.

His junior season, Logan was named as a NKY Top 26 all-star and the 6th District Class 6A Player of the Year. He was second-team all-Northern Kentucky by the Enquirer and invited to the prestigious Gunslinger QB Challenge. The Raiders went 6-6 last year, losing in the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs.

"Logan has not only grown as a football player, but also as a leader and student of the game. The one thing that stands out is the fire and enthusiasm he has in everything he does. He leads by example and is relentless as a player and student," says his head varsity football coach, Mike Engler.

Logan also plays basketball for the Raiders. He plans on playing football at the next level, but has not yet made a college commitment. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and collecting sports cards. His favorite entertainer is Adam Sandler, favorite book is The Great Gatsby, favorite movie is Friday Night Lights and his most-like-to-meet is Joe Burrow.

COACH'S QUOTE – "I have had the pleasure of coaching and watching Logan grow over the past few years. The same work ethic that has made him a success on the field and in the classroom can be seen in many other ways and activities. Logan's teammates have also honored him by selecting him to the Raider Council, as well as a team captain for the past three seasons. He is a positive role model for all the community and at Ryle High School."
— Mike Engler, Varsity Football Coach
