During this past season, Charles ran for a league-leading 1,443 yards and 23 touchdowns, plus had 453 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He scored at least two touchdowns in 10 games for the Bombers this season and earned first team all-state honors. He played only one half of many games because of lopsided scores. He was just named as the Enquirer's Div. I Offensive Player of the Year in Cincinnati.

He had many memorable performances this past season. In the big 49-16 win vs. Moeller at Nippert Stadium, Charles ran for 210 yards and three scores, plus scored another TD on a 56-yard pass reception. In a 42-7 playoff win vs. Elder, he accounted for four touchdowns. He ran for 217 yards and two touchdowns, plus had two touchdowns receiving. He helped the Bombers to an over all 10-3 record, a GCL South championship and a regional semifinalist finish. He was named first team GCL south and first team SWO District.

His junior year, Charles rushed for 855 yards and 10 touchdowns, plus had 250 receiving yards and four touchdowns for the state champs. For his efforts, he earned first team all-GCL South and second team all-SWO Ohio and all-Ohio honors. This past spring, he participated in the invitation-only Under Armor All-American Camp in Columbus.

A good student who is active in community service, Charles also ran track for the Bombers, helping his team to the district championship.

With numerous collegiate offers, Charles plans to play football at the next level, but has not yet selected a college. His favorite athlete is Saquon Barkley, favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite book is Fahrenheit 451, favorite movie is Interstellar and most-like-to-meet is Drake.

COACH'S QUOTE – "Charles is the consummate 'team' guy. Selfless in his approach, he approaches every day with an honest desire to improve. He is uncompromised in his effort and care for his teammates. He is not for sale."
— Carleton Gray, Varsity Basketball Coach
