Seton senior soccer all-star Millie Cluxton and her teammates have already earned one Ohio state championship, and this year they are gunning for another.
The Saints are the reigning Div. I girls' Ohio state champs, having won their first-ever Ohio state title last season, going 20-3-1 on the season. One of the area's top midfielders, Millie helped the team earn the state title by scoring 13 goals (third in the GGCL) during the season with 14 assists (leading the GGCL) for 40 points (tied for first in the GGCL.)
She has won numerous awards for her play on the pitch, including last season being named first-team GGCL, first-team all-city (Enquirer), first-team all-Southwest Ohio and second-team all-state. She was a finalist for Soccer Player of the Year by the Cincinnati High School Sports Awards.
She is having a good senior season, too. She is fourth in the league in goals scored (12), first in assists (18) and second in the league in points (42). She was once again named first-team all-GGCL for the league champs.
A great student, who had earned first honors every quarter at Seton, Millie is active in community service and also plays soccer for the Kings Hammer ECNL club team. She will play soccer at the next level, at the College of Charleston.
When it comes to her free time, Millie says, "I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family and going shopping. I love binge-watching TV shows and reading a good book. And I love going to the beach during the summer and being in the sun."
Her favorite athlete is Neymar Jr., favorite entertainer is Morgan Wallen, favorite book is Love and Other Words, favorite movie is Mamma Mia and most-like-to-meet is Ian Somerhalder.
