Moeller's multi-talented baseball star, senior Toby Hueber, on the diamond played shortstop, second base or pitcher.

He helped lead the Crusaders to a second straight GCL South championship this season. The Crusaders also won the regional championship in a hard-fought 7-6 win over Elder to go 29-3 on the season and be ranked #1 in Ohio Div. I. In the game, Toby went 2-3 with three runs scored and his 30th stolen base of the season, which set a single-season school record. The Crusaders then advanced to win the program's ninth Ohio state baseball title, beating Olentangy Orange 4-1 and ending the season with an impressive 31-3 record. He went 2-4 at the plate with a double and two stolen bases. In the state semifinals, Moeller beat Walsh Jesuit 2-0 with Toby on the mound. He pitched five innings of shutout baseball, retiring 15 of the final 18 hitters he faced and he also had a sacrifice fly RBI in the game. Toby went 10-0 on the season and set the Moeller baseball record for career wins with 25.

This season, Toby led the league in batting, hitting .406 with 27 RBI and, on the mound, led the league in wins with a 10-0 record. He had four shutouts and a 1.54 ERA. Toby was this season's GCL-South Player of the Year and was first-team all-Ohio. He was also named Cincinnati Div. I Player of the Year by the Southwest Ohio Baseball Coaches.

Toby is the all-time base stealer in Moeller history, reaching that landmark in a 12-5 win over Dixie Heights when he stole two bases to give him 57 in his career. Displaying his versatility, just the previous day to setting the base-stealing record, Toby in a five-inning 10-0 win over La Salle, pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out eight batters.

A good student (3.91 GPA), who is active in community service, Toby will play baseball at the next level at George Mason University. He also plays for the U.S. Elite club baseball team that won a World Series last summer.

His favorite athlete is Francisco Lindor, favorite entertainer is Lil Durk, favorite book is Harry Potter, favorite movie is Game of Thrones and most-like-to-meet is Michael Jordan.
