MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Highlands senior Kelsa
Mueller knows about winning state championships! Kelsa has been part of 7
Kentucky state titles! She won 3 Class AA team titles in cross country. She
was an integral part of 3 relay team titles (3,200 meter relay) in track. And,
her sophomore year, she was the Kentucky Class AA individual champion in the
800 meter run (2:24.07). She was the regional champ in the 800 meter her
junior year. Kelsa has won one more state championship than her dad, Dale, who
won six state titles at Highlands in football, (one as a player, five as head
coach.) Kelsa also swam for the Bluebirds for one year. A fantastic student
with a 4.04 GPA (Cum Laude Society, National Honor Society), Kelsa is active
in community service. Her favorite entertainer is Adam Sandler, favorite
athlete is Rudi Johnson and her most-like-to-meet is Johnny Depp. She will
attend Murray State.
