A three-year varsity starter at quarterback and running back, Colerain senior DeAnte Smith-Moore led the Cardinals to a 19th straight GMC title this season, going an undefeated 10-0 during the regular season. Colerain has not lost a conference game in more than a decade and finished this regular season ranked #1 in the state of Ohio Div. I.

In 12 games this season, DeAnte has rushed for 1,104 yds. (13 TDs) and passed for 841 yds. (17 TDs.) He has tied the school record for most TD passes in a game (5) and most rushing TDs in a game (5).

DeAnte has many highlight-filled games this season, but two of his best were in a win vs. Princeton when he accounted for six TDs, rushing for 235 yards and five TDs plus passing for another TD, and In win vs. Middletown when he passed for 316 yards and five TDs.

DeAnte, who also has played three years of baseball for the Cardinals, is a National Honor Society student and is active in community service. He will play football at the next level but has not yet selected a college.

His favorite athlete is Michael Vick, favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite book is Hunger Games, favorite movie is The Incredibles and most-like-to-meet is Barack Obama.
