A three-year varsity starter, volleyball all-star Maggie Huber, an Ursuline Academy senior, entered this season already having notched 1,065 career digs from her libero position. She has also accounted for 96 assists and 59 aces. She has 346 digs and 55 assists in 71 games this season for the 20-2 Lions.

Last season, she had a school-record 553 digs (leading the GGCL for the 2nd straight year), and 68 assists, which also led the GGCL.

Maggie's great play helped the Lions capture the Ohio Div. I state championship with 25 digs in the state final game. She also set an Ohio state record with 58 digs in the state semifinal victory. It was the sixth state championship for the Lions, who this season were once again highly rated in national preseason polls.

Maggie has earned numerous honors for her accomplishments, including last year being named first-team all conference, first team all-city, first team all-SWO District and 2nd team all-Ohio. She also plays for the Elevation Volleyball Club.

A great National Honor Society student who is active in community service, Maggie will play volleyball next season at Ball State University.

Her favorite athlete is Joey Votto, favorite entertainer is Thomas Rhett, favorite book is The Kindness of Strangers, favorite movieis Mamma Mia and most-like-to-meet is Bethany Hamilton.
